When you interact with our service, we receive and may store any Personal Information and IP Content you choose to give us. The types of Personal Information and IP Content you provide to us may include, but are not limited to, the email and password you provide for login, and the videos you upload to be stored with Unclip. Additionally, when you create clips on Unclip, we store them in your account so you don’t lose the best moments of the memories you’ve recorded. We may also receive metadata associated with video files you upload to our Service.
Information you provide is used for such purposes as enhancing the Service and our ability to make inferences about videos, in particular, which parts of a video you think are most interesting. We may also draw upon this Personal Information and IP Content in order to adapt the Service to your needs, to research the effectiveness of our network and Service, and to develop new tools for our community. Under no circumstance will any employee or agent of Unclip ever make public or share your private videos within your account unless given express consent to do so.
It probably goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway: When you contact Unclip Support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer.
When you use our Service, we collect information about how you use it, primarily to improve the experience for you and our other users in the future. Specifically, we monitor your activity through our Service to see which parts you use and how often. We collect device information about how you access Unclip, such as hardware model, operating system version, and browser type. Additionally, our Service requires us to collect videos from your device’s camera roll, so we will access your camera roll only after you give us your consent; however, it is up to you to choose which of these videos to upload to your Unclip account.
Unclip uses certain 3rd party services such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, and Intercom, to name a few, to collect data and monitor application usage and performance. Unclip may provide your Personal Information to those 3rd party services solely for the purposes noted above.
The only person who can choose to share your Personal Information or IP Content is you, if you wish to share any of your Personal Information and IP Content using Unclip’s sharing features.
The one exception: we may release Personal Information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with applicable laws, rules or regulations, including any applicable laws, rules or regulations outside your country of residence; to enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Unclip, our employees, our users, or others.
Your Personal Information is protected on Unclip by your email and password, for your privacy and security. To prevent unauthorized access to your account and to your Personal Information and IP Content, you must select and protect your password appropriately and limit access to your computer and mobile phone to only those individuals who you trust to maintain your privacy and security. Unclip strongly advises against sharing your password with anyone. Furthermore, while it is not currently mandatory, we strongly advise that you verify your email address with Unclip when you create your account.
Unclip endeavors to safeguard Personal Information and IP Content to ensure that information is kept private, through physical, electronic, and procedural measures. However, please be aware that despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
For users located outside of the United States, note that as part of the Service your Personal Information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
